2001 Proof Tenth Ounce Krugerrand - coin only

2001 proof 1/10ounce Krugerrand. The Tenth Ounce Krugerrand is the smallest Krugerrand available. The one-tenth ounce, is 91.67 percent pure gold (22-carat) and has 3.11 grams of gold. It is 1.35 millimeters thick and 16.55 millimeter in diameter. The Krugerrand is minted in Germiston, South Africa at the Rand Refinery.

On the front of the Krugerrand (the obverse side) is a profile of Paul Kruger and on the back (or the reverse side) of the coin is a springbok. These images were designed by Coert Steynbert, an African sculptor.
